To add to my Uniden Nascar handheld scanner- does the extension make a difference? Will it fit ?
Adding that antenna will make your scanner get signals in the lower VHF range (29 to 54MHz) but no where else as it is made for a CB radio, not a scanner. You might check into this antenna http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103159
