can universal remote control really work for all devices?
i have a dvd player called v2go. it is not on the list of the philips “universal remote control” list, but the package claims that “guaranteed to work your components.”
so i am curious how they can make such a claim? how can this remote control work with all current and future products?
what is the engineering principle behind this?

How do i get my tv tuner working?
Iv got a HP laptop windows vista 32 bit and it came with a remote control thing that u put into the side of the laptop. when i go to windows media center and go to set up tv it keeps telling me i dont have the hardware.. what do i do?
give some more details since you dont plug in a remote control in to a slot on your laptop it might be a IR thing to stream your computer desktop to your tv…

what good LCD monitor with TV tuner could you recommend? ?
I understand the parameters, but parameters are one thing, and the real experience can differ greatly.
I’m looking for a LCD monitor with built-in TV tuner and remote control, preferably non-wide ; max 16:10 -, around 20” and in lower cost category.
Could you submit some recommendations please?

u should rather go in for LCD TV’s instead…
If you still want to go with LCD Monitors only.. I would suggest buy an external TV tuner long with a good monitor..

can i control my pc using the remote control of my TV tuner card?
i am the administrator,i have a “oddyssy” tv tuner card with IF remote control.
Generally speaking, a PC remote is capable of started a few programs if you program shortcuts to the buttons, and can control certain media programs to a limited degree. You can also use certain remote models as a wireless mouse, but the controls are often sluggish and inefficient.
Some remotes can also shut down PCs if you program it accordingly.
In short, a remote *may* be able to control a PC, depending on what functions you’re seeking to control.
