Can you charge a camera battery on a cell phone car charger?
I lost my camera for 2-3 years and found it and lost the charger. I hooked it on a cell phone charger because it was my only hope will it charge or should I disconnect it?
If the cord fits into the camera, than yes it will charge. I had a BlackBerry Storm and it used a microUSB cable. I sold my Storm and kept the charger. I plugged the charger into my Sony Camera and the Camera charges perfectly.

running a portable cd player from a wagons (24v) cigarrette socket?
Hia,
could someone please let me know how I would go about powering a portable cd player from a wagons cigarrette socket, like you would in a car, apparently they run at 24 volts as opposed to those found in cars that run at 12 volts, is this a problem, and if so how do you get around it?
Thanks.
American International carries a product called Vol.ta.drop it will convert 24volts to 12volts so you can run your CD player. However it has to be wired in, it is not a “plug and play” device.

Dual Charger and Wii remotes are NOT hot/warm?
Chances are they are ok to keep in the charger even if they are done? I haven’t been keeping them in the charger after they turn green (red is while charging) but they don’t seem to hold a good charge. I am going to try to leave them in and see how they stay charged tomorrow.
It’s not the brand one that I have read about that is frying remotes. It’s a United Penguin brand. The one frying them is Psycholne or something like that!
I contacted the Ebay seller I got them from to see if he will take them back. It says they offer a 14 day no ?’s asked return BUT it also said in the description of the item that there is a 30 day money back guarentee. Don’t know which one I fall under. I am at the 16 day mark of the sale date. Tomorrow will be 14 days since receiving them. I’m waiting to hear back from him.
Thoughts?
I never take my Wiimotes off the charger until I am ready to play, so they spend a lot of time on there while Im at work and school. I havent had a problem, and they dont get hot or anything, and hold an excellent charge.
I would recommend getting a better charger. I use Nyko’s Charging Station, and its awesome.

what good LCD monitor with TV tuner could you recommend? ?
I understand the parameters, but parameters are one thing, and the real experience can differ greatly.
I’m looking for a LCD monitor with built-in TV tuner and remote control, preferably non-wide ; max 16:10 -, around 20” and in lower cost category.
Could you submit some recommendations please?

u should rather go in for LCD TV’s instead…
If you still want to go with LCD Monitors only.. I would suggest buy an external TV tuner long with a good monitor..

can i control my pc using the remote control of my TV tuner card?
i am the administrator,i have a “oddyssy” tv tuner card with IF remote control.
Generally speaking, a PC remote is capable of started a few programs if you program shortcuts to the buttons, and can control certain media programs to a limited degree. You can also use certain remote models as a wireless mouse, but the controls are often sluggish and inefficient.
Some remotes can also shut down PCs if you program it accordingly.
In short, a remote *may* be able to control a PC, depending on what functions you’re seeking to control.
